    height adjust, price?

Is there such thing as adjustable suspension that just adjusts the height and nothing else like camber, etc.?

If there is, i'm assuming they would be cheaper.....how much can i expect to pay for height adjustable suspension all round for my AE82 Corolla? And what's a good brand, that's also good value for money?

One more question......is there any major problems that are associated with adjustable suspension, that i should be aware of?

    Thanks.

I think, in general, adjustable suspension simple adjusts the height. The bits that adjust camber are add-on extras.

On a Corolla, with MacPherson struts, it is inevitable that changing the height of the suspension will introduce some camber changes, but I would hesitate that the changes would be measureable.

The major problem associated with adjustable suspension is to ensure that the 4 corners are adjusted properly to distribute the load evenly (not necessarily equally) around the 4 corners of the car, ie so that the FR and FL corners carry the same weight, and the RR and RL corners carry the same weight.

so would changing the ride height by about 60mm severly effect the camber? I suppose it would......

So what's a good brand, and also good value for money?

roughly how much for a "professional" to adjust the suspension (just say i get a defect for car being too low, i wanna work out how much it's gonna cost me to adjust height)....

it would b much appreciated if anyone can answer all these questions for me....

The front end of a FWD car will have two universal joints (CV's) between the wheel & gearbox; changing the height shouldn't change the camber by much at all, surely?
