    engine compression

Since i've had a turbo installed. I have a fair amount of oil getting expelled from the engine, back into the air filter. I've had some one surgest to me that i lower the compression of the engine.

I've heard of this, but what is involed to lower the compression.?And can it be done at any workshop?

I don't think that compression is your problem. Unless you are running ridiculously high boost levels I would say that you have a problem with ring sealing. I'd say that oil is being blown past the rings.

But I could be totally wrong here.

The boost is only at bout 8psi.
I have also notice that when charging gears there would be some smoke.

Are the rings an easy thing to get replace, or is it goin to bust the bank!

    Lowering compression to stop blowby?

That's a bit like standing on your head to fix the bleeding from a severed leg...

Arguing with an engineer is a lot like wrestling in the mud with a pig. After a few hours, you realise that he likes it
