    King Of Europe drag races, June 2005

    Just came across this site whilst googling for something else. These guys are setting up an inaugural european drag racing event in Belgium for street-legal cars, and seem to have attracted an impressive list of competitors including a few sweet Lancia Delta Integrales, Cosworth Escorts & Sierras, Audis and Porkers, some yank tanks and your usual Japanese contenders, from all over yewrop...

    Theres some amusing posts in the forum section, people from all over getting into the action. For the Sube fans, check the chick from Amsterdam's heavily modded wrx in the 'girls' thread (no, theres no pics of her...).

    was watching a show on ESPN last week about Europe drags. they are getting better but not up to the US and our standards.

    another interesting coment from the show was the all motor sport is banned in 1 of the European contries, i think it was either sweden or switzerland. that woould have to suck

    That'll be Switzerland. It's also unique among Euro countries in that they actually enforce the speed limits there (it's a real rude shock when you're driving thru from France or Italy)

    Sweden on the other hand has tons of motorsport, esp drags.

    Circuit racing. Yeah, does suck a bit, but its no biggie. They do a bit of tarmac rallying in the mts in summer. And within a few hrs drive you can be at Dijon, Magny Cours, Le Mans, Nurburgring, Monza, San Marino, or wherever...

    i just checked it is a mitsu eclipse therefore the competition is null and void for aussies cos they are all LHD, even in japan.
