a friend is wanting to power up his 00 Auto WRX (i know i know autos suck)

he got a price from a workshop in brissy $3500 ish for a pod filter, fmic, and 3" stainless exhaust..

where is his money best spent?

what kind of gains should he expect?

would fitting a pre-fabbed exhaust and fmic kit be difficult?

my boss is selling his exhaust with stainless dump and muffler from his my04 sti if your friend is interested.

FMIC isnt need yet, more wank than gain and increases lag

id go Filter in proper enclosure with CAI, turbo back 3" exhaust and either a chip or Boost controller or both.
