Hey pete, when you sit in those where is the top of your shoulders relative to the harness slots?

Given you're not the shortest bastard on PF, my guess is that the top of your shoulders sits above the top of the harness slots, yes?
Don't worry, thats just the self-preservation instinct, in my experience you can safely ignore it.

started this bullshit misson about a month ago but never got around to finishing it.
    reasons ?
supra centre console and handbrake is very high in relation to the new seats (now mounted hard on the floor) = very awkward to change gears.
so i tossed the console and stuck a hydro in rather than fuck about trying to relocate the stock lever/cables out of the road.
    came up good.
and yes i did fully weld the plate.

    ta.
muz yeh i guess, all those handbrake parts weigh a good bit, just the mounting bracket for the handle is a largish slab of ~6mm plate. typical toyota.
now waiting on the seat brackets from the powder coaters so i can get the rest of the interior in.

Nice and clean. What is the interior of your car painted with? I need to do mine soon but not sure what to use. People have suggested POR15 and a paint brush?

handbrake was $400, speedflow to hook the cunt up was another $150 or so.
floors painted with supercheap deadener, nothing but the best.

so ive had a major about-face with this thing.
rather than finish cleaning the paint up (currently half way through but fucking over it) im going to strip the car and have it resprayed.
theres enough big stone chips and scratches all over the cunt to warrant it. plus the trim is getting sad in places so ill renew all that aswell.
ill pull the drivetrain so i can have the engine bay painted at the same time, its fucked too.
also i want to build a new wiring loom for it, incorporating a smart wire like dale has used in his commo. that will be a good opportunity to throw some ID/bosch injectors in aswell.

did you know the dual-saws counter-rotating blade technology lets you cut something delicate as a tomato without making a mess?
