Very nicely presented cars. Bet those ITB's sound awesome too.
I love the look of a clean race car engine bay. The show car scene should take note.

We took the brothers for a run round the block, its running a aftermarket GSXR 100 muffler and its nice and quiet and not blappy, when he was giving it shit, you could hear the ITB's 2 streets away.

Finally got the car on the track, it went well except for brakes, I will be upgrading to some JFZ 4 spot calipers. The car looks like a dunga but its going to paint next week for a coat of white and then the livery goes on.

Thanks mate, mines hopefully going to paint next monday week after another track day, mine will be blue with white stripes and the same livery, we have just finished a brake upgrade on the ke20 and 25

heres some pics of the JFZ brake conversion, we had to make new brackets up because the JFZ have a 5.25 inch bolt pattern, using Gazelle rotors with a adapter plate for correct offset, we made the bracket first from tin and when the final offset etc was correct. We got new 6mm mild steel laser cut to suit, we also added a 7mm spacer on the rear of the spacer for the correct offset and drilled and tapped it to suit a 10mm dia high tensile bolt. We got the pedal sussed and they feel good. Next weekend will be the test, fitted the new Konis they are Fiat 124 and need a bigger diameter hole drilled 10mm and shaved the bottom bush to suit the shock mount.

    Cheers
    John

Brakes worked fantastic, dropped 3 secs a lap straight away down from a 30 to a flat 27, didnt fade, plenty of bite, car needs still more rear brake. Might try a different bias adjuster had mine full rear and still needs more. The new rear Konis have got rid of the nervousness from the rear Thought I was flying round, nephew took it for a spin and did a 1.25 flat then a mid 24.Lap record for Mallala is a 1.25.1, so the car has plenty of potential. I just need to learn to drive faster. Car goes to paint on Thursday, then its stickered up and ready for action

Love it, small cars with bigger motors are right up my alley. Look forward to seeing it on the track.
