Well, all the brakes went together without too many dramas and i held high hopes for a brilliant track time, but it was not to be......

    http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/re...0/2008.ORAN.S1

Nearly 1 second more than before!

I blame the temperature today....fark it was hot out there.
Was reading a road temp of 62C in the pits. (Go the Infra-red Thermo)
Anyway, my rear suspension settings now need sorting out ( ala Hoonboy?)
Damn thing goes understeery and then snaps oversteer. Very unsettling.
That and i need to get more camber happening both front and rear, and get some toe-out up the front i think.
    Oh well, always next time

It was damn hot yesterday as well, I've got some major sunburn!

Lap times look good for the dollars spent. Handling seems to be typical stiff front wheel drive, might need to soften something up or get quicker reflexes

Yeah yeah, but a 53.xx would have been better.
Funny really, cause it felt quicker than last time.
Dunnydore will do alot quicker after you piss that Buick lump of shit off.
Its far better engineered than team Corolla, just needs re-powering.

Likewise, Team Pov Corolla is going on holidays for a little while.
Just today i cleaned up the carport and made its bed.
Next outing will probably be March-ish next year i think.

    Well time for an update.

Took the Corolla out again , this time to Eastern Creek.
Made its debut with a 2:04 ish best time.
I am happy with that and i think it hit its terminal velocity down the main straight too.
So nothing further to report as no changes or improvements have been made since this time last year.

Oh and the Bigport 4AGE loves the rev limiter, and diesel engine oil.
    No its not a diesel

Very interesting, they make a big deal about saying that they are open in 2009. Won't be complaining if they are open a bit longer, will hopefully be at the 10th Jan event as well if it's on (and I have a working car...)
