    1000cc injectors stop stand off

    ok last week end went up to 1000 cc sard injectors to get rid of the stand offf and have fixed my problem all together now
    ,but we did muck around with end of injection to see what would happen as i had the air box on ,we picked up more power here and there and was hapopy till i took the lid off and was wet again ,so we had to change it so i wont get any air box fires and funny as i did loose some power but only right up at the top end ,so will leave it here for the moment till i try other things .it made 189.6 kws after the tune at the back wheels but what inm trying to do now is have the power lower ,even if it only makes 180 kws at say 8400 instead of 189 kws at 8900 rpm ,and also try to fatten up the mid range and also torque as well

    Do you only have 2 injectors total? 1000cc is rather large injectors for 180rwkw.

    So you went to increased injector size to reduce the duration the injector was open so you could time it with the inlet pulses to increase the amount of fuel injested by the engine?

    sorry guys didnt have my reading glasses on
    in another thread i was having problems with stand off on my 3sge with 2 stage injection .was running 365cc inboard and 720cc out board ,but fuel was coming out from about 7500 rpm all the way till 8800 red line ,so then i upped the fuel pressure from 3 bar to 5 bar to see if that would fix it .also changed ram tubes in length longer and shorter to see if i could fix it with this ,but no go .
    so i bought 4 sard single pintle injectors and put these in with the 5 bar motor sport pump etc and tuned this last saturday and with the narrow pulse width to shoot fuel have stopped the spit back all together
