I need to move some long term projects as my little business wants to take over my shed.
This car is at risk of being shoved around the side of the house under a car cover so figured might guage any interest in it. Obviously i wont be wanting the world for it as its but it has some decent bits in it.
I have sold the engine box out of it and used the turbo on my cressida. The car is a 1974 KE20 corolla pretty much setup for a turbo 1uzfe, i can probably include the mild steel turbo manifold setup.
Most of the panel work is now done but its currently all sorts of different undercoat / filler colours, i have alot of parts for it, chromes, 2 sets of doors, grills, etc, some stock seats various interior bits, glass etc. Car is actually quite rust free. Engine bay has been seem welded some point in its life. Gearbox tunnel is from a skyline.
It has custom adjustable front struts with koni adjustable inserts, the lower struts are ra60, the disks/hubs are slotted vt commodore, i have vt twin spot calipers to suit. I have put a KE55 crossmember and moved the lower control arms in 30mm to correct the track. I have converted the car to rack and pinion using a ke70 rack, it all works but i have no tierod ends on it yet.
I have clearanced the front end to make a large aluminium VL radiator fit and it can be included also.
The diff is a shortened 4.44:1 locked 10 bolt salisbury with drum brakes, the rear tubs have been extended at full height to the outer guards so you can get a pretty decent size tyre under there and still have it low. Car is holden 5 stud pcd all round and has 4 x 15" pursuit rims on it.
Looking for offers, keep in mind the front struts and brake setup cost over $1200 etc.
Car has some history, used to have a 308 in it and won a few burnout comps at archerfield etc, think it ran into the 11s back then with the 308 in it, was then sold to a friend who fitted an rb20det to it, i bought it back a few years ago now.
