    Orange 202 Autocross Torana Rebuild

So we have a Torana that we use for Club stuff, rallies, autocross, hill climb super sprints Etc and we are wanting to up the power

at the moment we have the stock unopened 35 year old engine with a blue motor distributor Lurkey extractors and a 350 Holley with a Dingo manifold
    Photos to come,

we are thinking about getting the engine bored out to +30 thou ans run something around 10.5 or 11 to 1 compression ratio.

at the moment we are still scratching round for a yella terra head as abundant as people say they are I have yet to find one.

as I chiped a seal in my RX7 dad took it upon himself to steal my semi slicks

engine bay complete with 3.5 litre catch tank from plasic down pipe

here is the start of the collection, I have been reading up on Jmac's posts on 202's and managed to find a lynx manifold. the weber linkages will need to be replaced for proper ones made for solex carbies

Right now I have collected 6 40mm solex carbies in various state of repair these are the two that Carcrazy helped me get from South Australia Cheers buddy your a great help.

the carbies originally come from a escort so I would't be too surprised if the jetting is off, but not by much. According to the experts the Solex carbs are very similar to the webers and delortos but they do not have the f jets, instead it is drilled into the jet block which is a separate part the can be changed over like the jets them selves. Hence why I collected twice as many as I really need for spares.
