Nah that's the car I was thinking of. I thought about buying before I bought my current car. If the body is ok you could be onto a good car. Add a GT3088 and you're done. G50 will take the power all day. So add another 7k on the buy in price for boost and happy days.

That's odd, it was the one I was looking at. For some reason I didn't recognise it from that link.

I was personally thinking about backdating the body and strapping on some webbers for noise.

Similar cost, different results - Different strokes I suppose...

Yeah you will get noise. My car with webers was over 100db inside the car at 2,800rpm. Problem was 2,800rpm was also 110kph in 5th. That shit got old real quick. At 120 it would tip over to the mains and be much much quieter and easier to drive.

^this is what I was starting to think of doing before my car turned up. Get the early car looks with none of the short comings.

k-tec for a proper shop check.

Or I have a Porsche crazy mate who has done inspections for about 5 friends - he knows what to look for and all the 3000040230404021340 variations of model bits and piece to ensure genuine model etc.

I reckon that is farkin tidy for the money. Take advantage of the unpopularity of LHD. I don't think it will always be that way.

Exactly what I'd be doing. Still doing my homework, but looking for the right SC to start with.

This. Hoping to pick up a cheaper LHD car to start with.

Not Pron but worth a post. First concept of a 4 door 911 back in the late 80's. Have to say it's not bad to my eyes. More in proportion than the Landwhale (which is actually a great car to drive btw).

Shit covered rocks in you head to buy that red car over the silver car if it checks out for rust.

Yeah I'd agree. No rego screams dodgy. Bust him to 15k and it could be worth it to fix.

That is unreal how much the panamera has derived in styling from that given the age gap between the two.

First 4 door was a long time before that.

^ that's coming up for auction next week AFAIK.

Pretty sure that's a RWB car, I've got a Japanese mag that covered lots of the cars he did, I'll have a quick look at home to see if it's one of them.
