    Bubbletop was '62 IIRC.

Personally I'd go for a '62 Pontiac Bubbletop Catalina, much rarer and more interesting than the Chev.

EDIT: '61 aswell judging by that ^.

59-61 were the traditional "bubble tops"

62-64 are the same shape, not often referred to as bubbletop in 2 door pillarless

    Oldsmobile Toronado, or Buick Riviera.
"Where can we get hold of a Vincent Black Shadow?" "Whats that?" "A fantastic bike," I said. "The new model is something like two thousand cubic inches, developing two hundred brake-horsepower at four thousand revolutions per minute on a magnesium frame with two styrofoam seats and a total curb weight of exactly two hundred pounds."

    '60s Riviera = hotness
    '70s Riviera = gaids

I whole heartedly support the acquisition of said 8L V8 engine.

Like what was stated above '34 Ford, stock aside from '36 brakes gets knocked back.
Other more modified stuff gets let in.
How does that happen anyway? Would a customs/importation guy pick '36 brakes over '34? Surely they are ignorant enough that you could bring in stuff that's been discreetly modified.

'70 Riviera GS with the Stage 1 455 = Win.

But a '70 Skylark GSX with a Stage 2 455 would be better.

I'm not 100% sure, but it's probably something like a '34 has cable operated brakes and a '36 has Hydraulic.

    64 Compact Fairlane 2 door?
    64 Galaxie Fastback?
    68 Fairlane Torino?

None of the cars anyone has suggested fit the 2-3k price range.

3k is a ballpark really, ... we have to save to go to the wedding first, .. then anything on top of that we can put towards a car.

Doesnt have to be "cool" as such, but just very american, for shits n giggles and if we can make a profit by bringing back something then we will try.

I think the only requirement is that it has to get Rorge and I to the wedding ... I think that in itself will be an issue
