    RowdyRallySport Datto 1600

Well after Rowds banged up the Gemini a few weeks back, I've been on the lookout for a new rally car to do a few rallysprints in etc, and to use while the VT is being built.

Just put a deposit down on this

Worked L18, twin SU's (will look for some webers soon) caged (not CAMS logbooked yet, .. gotta get onto JW about that) r180 diff, comes with an STI LSD centre and r31 discs to go on. Z 5 speed box, 240k struts and bilsteins, Terraphone etc.

PIcking it up in a few weeks time

currently the car sits without a motor in it as it was planned an engine conversion, but that didnt happen as its now is being sold.

Motor and box will be back in the car and running before i collect it

Knowing Heimo, and his mates/clan, it's probably best you don't.
On the other hand, didn't he damm near breed the bloody things at one stage?

All you need to know is if there are any parts left in "The Pit", and that when Swill says he has a source, he's talking about Heimo.

Watch out for the Finnish mafia.

Swill says he is in the know with these things .... and the pit is starting to sound a little familiar.

Fro, ... did you look up beaudesert on a map yet?

Yeah, looking at times I'll be going through Beaudesert... don't think I'll be any good looking at it at 11pm on Wednesday though?

Hard to see for sure in the photo, but check that the harnesses are threaded through the three-bar slide properly, looks like they're one pass short at the moment.
Don't worry, thats just the self-preservation instinct, in my experience you can safely ignore it.

Another set of harnesses will be going in as those are out of date. I'll be using my willans 4pt's from my road car temporarily until I can fund a set of new 3in 6pts

Thanks to Shifty for heading to beaudesert yesterday to look the car over for me, and is pretty much in the condition described.

So I'm heading up Wednesday week to pick this one up.
