    Sweet, thanks again all.

I must say it does come on quite agressive, and loves to fight for grip in 1st and 2nd.
    I'm can't stop smiling...

I reckon it would be an absolute hoot. Really gets me hanging to have my car back on the road.

I didn't spot what turbo it was, can you shed any light?

I like the ghetto EFI setup. What ECU are you running? What's doing ignition-wise?

    Hey thanks Shift.

    As you requested -
    Turbo - WRX TD04L Bearing
    ECU - Microtech MT4 (OldSKool)
Ignition - Ford Telstar electronic, with a Sigma Turbo Vaccum retard Canister.

Hope this helps let me know if there is anything else you would like to know.

    Update

So after she let go a Power Cruz last year,
I finally pulled my finger out and took the Donk out of the clacker.
The last time that came out of the bay was almost 10yrs ago.

To my amasement after pulling then engine down the only thing that let go was the Ring Landing on Piston 1, apart from that everything else was like new.
Since the engine was out I thought I would give the bay a quick freshen up and lick of paint.
It's come out ok, now everything is fitted up and waiting it's new heart.... Sorry boys it wont be a Rota. [-X

Here are some pix of the progress....

All ready for the Donk !!

    Cheers

    Engine Built

Ok so the engine is built,
Just need to get new clutch and a few odds and ends, then hopefully back in the car.

If she makes the same power as before I’ll be happy enough, if she make more then that will be a bonus, there are a few small additions, but they won’t come into play until it’s run-in.
I’ve got a T/Smart X wastegate, new Bigger Turbs, I’m currently working on creating my own CAS multi coil ignition system, and then ECU will be Haltech.

Maybe with this little additions we might be able to find a few more little ponies..

Here is a few pix of the engine build …

    mmmmmmmmm Nice ...

    Cheers

Awesome! Keep the updates coming. I'm about to go efi and individual ls1 coils on my F/NA 1600. I'll be very interested to see how you do crank and cam angle sensors as I'll have to go through this also. What pistons did you go for this time? Are there any other details of the engine build you can provide?

    Thanks bud,
Build is pretty much the same, the pistions I had before held out well for 10 years so I decided to stick with another set (Cheap at $80).

Only diff will be bigger Turbs, X wastegate, bigger Inj +E85, and CAS multi coil.

Still working on the CAS ignition, seems to be going ok, just need to borrow someones Lathe for 1hr to machine it down.
I have a choice of a RX S4/5 CAS Dissy or a SR20 Cas, either should work, but I'll start with RX7 one first.
I still have to get some LS1 coils, and Haltech Ecu, but they will come later.

    Cheers Regards OLD's
