i have been looking in to nos setups with turbos, and there are a few things i dont understand.
alot of nos with turbo systems i read about have the nos going into the exhaust manifold to spool up the turbo to shorten turbo lag, well why into the exhaust? why doesnt it go in to the inlet manifold where there will be less waste of nos, my only thought is that maybe pressuring the system higher than what the turbo is putting out may cause an issue with the turbo
if you can pump pressured air into the manifold then your afr would be out, would moving the maf sensor which is in a pull though position to a blow through setup fix the afr?
and do you have to use nos, could you use compressed air instead?
