To explain my story, they promised things they couldn't deliver/achieve. Then I was personally abused for reminding them what they promised me. Made many personal attacks against me so I told my story on a forum and then got threatened for legal action.

That was many years ago, then earlier this year, made one comment about an un-named company (literally did not mention ANY names); and he calls me again to try and sue me for some arbitrary value of $11,000 in damages.

I love the second part of the autospeed interview - does Wayne Besanko of powerchip even think before he speaks? Does he expect us to believe that they fitted a bunch of powerchips without money paid up front? If not , then the mythical 'returners' he speaks of must have had the funds to pay for it, even if they wanted to ask for their money back later on. And does he expect anyone to believe that any of these make believe scammers would then somehow decide to come clean and tell him 'we are on the dole, we could never afford a powerchip, we had no intention of paying for it'

Lots of empty threats; I was never sent any papers or contacted by his lawyer.

Always gave me the option of paying him some arbitrary amount of $ to cover for losses/damages. What a joke. What's worse is that those many years ago I was still young and powerless against such a big bully, so I was quite intimidated back then.

Fortunately I had the support of other older more powerful people who were willing to stand behind me and even cover all my legal costs if anything eventuated but of course, as you'd expect, nothing did.

In many ways I feel sorry for him; he clearly is very devoted to his business, yet he can't control his emotions enough to remain civil and promote it properly. Powerchip will go down in history as one of the worst tuners ever, not that I care.

I do hope that more people will start to realize the risk they are taking by going with a Powerchip product; empty promises, no support, and quite frankly an inferior product. There are better and cheaper options out there now; run by people who actually know a thing or two about engine management.

Wayne is reading this thread right now; you can bet on it. He's probably making a list of emails to send and phone calls to make to threaten legal action as we speak. He should really just give up. It's not as though the whole world is wrongfully slagging on his company; if it was anything that it is marketed to be, then 90% of what you read about Powerchip on the internet would be of praise and support. He dug his own grave by all his dodgy dealings, poor attitude, money-hungry practices, and lack of expertise in an industry that is easily exploited.
