Yeah the ATO will never send you correspondence via Email. They will always contact you via mail first, or via your tax agent.

I've never seen the ATO use the word 'fiscal' either lol.

Finally I have caught up, although a few pages back I was ready to throw in the towel having to read all of those noob posts. What a headache.

Sounds like you're going to have a pretty strong case RNS, and I admire that you're standing up to this bully and I hope he gets what he deserves.
