I have been thinking about it. Got my aem wide band back now, would not mind tidying up the map and maybe trying a pass with a smaller shot but for the entire pass. Would be awesome to crack 140 so I can bolt a chute on for Jambo haha. More accurate outcome is I will probably be looking for another box on Thursday haha

mine cost me $350 mv valve body, $400 in parts and $700 for a gearbox shop to assemble it with the extra clutches. it makes around 600rwhp in full weight cressida and seems to have no dramas with the power so they are a good gearbox and fairly cheap to build. the weak point in my opinion would be the input shaft they are not very big.

i was going to enter Jamboree but couldnt be bothered putting a harness in and turning the boost down to run over 11.00 if i knew you were entering i might of made the effort, i may still enter dyno but will see

Yep - input shaft snaps off in the converter, and there is no way to make a shaft from better material due to the shaft design.

Once you are past about 450rwkw it becomes a gamble (although that threshold does shift up and down depending on the valvebody - ie on shift hardness, tyres, vehicle weight and road surface)

I might do the same. I gave about 30secs consideration to taking the BB out, but I CNBF'd and its still got a few things that need to be done.

might be a good way to run it up on the aem and sort it in the deep end, so you know it's good for jambo

better blowing it up now and having time to sort it, than on your first pass at jambo
