So maybe the wait was a little over estimated.

Got called by the dealer today who said that my car would be available for delivery late november / early december. I was originally quoted March 2013 so that's a massive difference.
I don't want it that soon (probably be unemployed and overseas in december) and I stipulated I wanted Feb/March 2013 delivery so orders have been swapped around. Works for me.

dealer sent the guy's deposit back in the mail with a written letter saying they weren't able to meet the stipulations of his contract of delivery by march 2013 so they just sent him the cheque in the mail - no phone call or anything... crazy.

You could say that! Mz21 car is getting different piping to normal but will tube the car with the kit piping etc first

Paint alloy piping with black wrinkle finish and most wouldn't pick it from factory....even then maybe mistake it as just an intake kit.

there is a method to our madness.. heat.. there is actually fuck all room down there to put everything with out melting shit..

making a kit like this is easy to do when it comes to fabrication..

So a week or so ago, bendigo toyota had a competition where 10 winners got to passenger in an 86 in timed laps around winton.

There were 2 cars, a stock 86 with competition pads fitted and driven by a certified mad man (john strauch), and another with tyres and suspension (what sort i wasnt told) driven by gary phillips (owner of pedders bendigo).

With 2 people in the car, john had a pb of 1:45.9 around winton! That is fair fucking flying for a "near stock" 2l production car!!

The other car with 1 person in it got a pb of 1:45.6 lol. I reckon the driver had a fair bit to do with that.

Best bit, both cars got driven to the track, did approx 400km at winton. Then drove back to bendi again. No hassles.

The first lucky winner with strauchy, got 3 laps in and needed a ralph lol.

Weight distribution matters to us circuit lappers, 10kg certainly would. I will refrain from being sarcastic, for once.
