rigid rear end sounds like what a young man is as he walks into the prison for the first time.

haha, fucking...those are pics I copied from the fleabay add...guess they are a tad small.
I'll bung my own sucky pics up when I take some.
just watching a chopper program, where the ran a spring based shock cantilevered under the seat. seems betterer than a normal spring seat.

good but pricey
If you can get it to look similar to this
How about a Singular style paint job/stickers?
Yeah, shouldn't be too hard to do something like that. I want same size front & rear wheels & tyres though. Would need to run controls further forward than that, probably mid...that dude must be cut off at the knees.
Just got some wire wheels that I'll bung equal size (probably 18 inch) rims on & that will look better.
I wouldn't mind knowing what that tank was...it looks tops...most people go with a sportster tank which looks rank.
Paint will be Larrys custom cycles theme of course...

I'll try the $20 springs first...if I cant deal with it I'll see what I can find
Wish I had the link to that build - might be kicking around at home somewhere - will let you know.
"Where can we get hold of a Vincent Black Shadow?" "Whats that?" "A fantastic bike," I said. "The new model is something like two thousand cubic inches, developing two hundred brake-horsepower at four thousand revolutions per minute on a magnesium frame with two styrofoam seats and a total curb weight of exactly two hundred pounds."
Damn you edo, got me reading bobber build ups all over the net now.
Where would one aquire a cheap xs650 from? Or are they overpriced for an old shitbox because everyone wants one to turn into a bobber?
Found it! Was when I spent way too much time skimming through Pirate 4x4.
Forgot he re-phased it as well.

mate was hitting a sweeper on the fwy in his car with a solid rear harley in front of him, the guy on the harley went to lean in and hit a few bumps, mate rekons he got airborne and started skipping around with his legs all in the air holding onto the bars for dear life like a looney toons cartoon...
yes they look cool, just dont go fast on them. Ever.
There was actually a similar looking tank at the Haigslea swapmeet on sunday - one of a handfull of things that might have actually been worth something

whats the go with registering a bike like this? need an engineers cert?
Easier to mod bikes cause half the rules don't apply.
Most of the time you just modify and ride it and find a good rego guy.
great build up thread for that bike. kinda makes me less want to do something like that cause i realise i dont have half the skills/tools as that guy
would definately need an engineers in NSW. having said that all car mechanics that do pink/blue slips can do bikes, and im sure there are plenty that wouldnt know how modded the bike really is.
Guy,
Who have you got doing the rephasing of the motor?
Damn this thread has got me thinking about a rigid again. I really should put it off till I get my cafe racer project finished.
