Lol I'm currently on about a 5.3/8kg/mm setup and you think yours is soft! I do however already have a cage, you will like the improvement in rigidity!

evil: So you going to throw me the keys to your suitably modified track hack too?

Just a little update. got stuck into the wiring this arvo. the basic plan is a pull all the old harness out, get rid of any wiring i dont need, then stick it back in. things that are going so far are -
    electric mirrors
    interior lights
    handbrake warning light
    ariel
    rear demister
    all the stereo stuff
    heater and a/c
i have done everything from the dash back. basically un-did all the wiring, labelled it and pulled it all forward into a nice big pile tomorrow i will proberly do the sound deadner and pull the dash out. i do have a question though, i will be using a hairdryer and a bbq scaper for the deadner, does anyone know what i should use to clean the rest of the interior with? maybe just soap and water?

Use dry ice to do the sound deadner.

ended up using petrol and it worked really well. im going to need to sand the footwell because someone has previously tried to take the deadner off and looks like it has been baking in the sun for 2 years lol anyway very happy with how it turned out.
