Just digging this thread up again. Where's a good place to buy these from (ID2000) or is there anything better?
What about these ones called ID2000 'style'? Are they Chinese knockoffs or something? http://microtechefi.com/index.php?ro...tegory&path=39

Just look like BOSCH branded ones, not 'ID' branded/matched.

I thought it was common knowledge that ID just resell/brand BOSCH, with the only difference being they match the injector flow rates fairly closely and offer pretty coloured adaptors.

    that was my interpretation

i know AZNEW reflow some of the stock bosch injectors to run higher flow rates.

So how much variation is there to be expected with just buying the Bosch ones? Would it be standard practice to get them flow matched and how much would that cost generally?

yeah, because Bosch quality control is crap, they would roll off a bosch production line with wildly different flow rates.

Thread drift, but I can find the number in 3 places, 2 of which are relatively straightforward to locate.

I looked at FIC a while back, the Blue Max are modified injectors (rochester maybe) from memory, this turned me off them and I went for the Bosch's.

The high impedence was a big selling point me as my Autronic only has High Imp drivers.

    I misunderstood what you wrote.
Wound up going for Bosch Motorsport 1200s for now. The inj guy I get them from really recommended Bosch 1200cc motorsport injectors. They are made for pump and e-85 so, they are stable well over 3bar. He said 85% duty at 3bar will support 600 crank hp on e-85. They are stable and can run at 93-95% duty if pushed with no problems. He says they are way better than the 2000's if you can get away with a little less fuel. I know modified car similar to mine that uses the 95lb Bosch MS version at 4 bar with no issues with 625+rwhp. The cost for the 1200 motorsports are $100 each.

he probably reccomended them because he had thousands of them and got them cheap, the 1600 and 2000cc bosch injectors have greater control over the old 1200 motorsport injectors at low pluse widths but for $100 each you probably wont go wrong

don't the new generation bosch injectors come with a quad spray tip? which in turn makes fine control of at idles easier, ie better atomisation. compared to say the older style twin bosch/current siemens or old school rochester single spray.

Yeah, I'm getting mixed messages between the guy doing the wiring/tuning here and the guy in the U.S. supplying fuel rail/injectors. The guy here said the same thing about the Bosch 1200s being an old design but the U.S. guy said there is a new version that has superceded the old models. Maybe the new version isn't available out here yet? He said he'd get me the part number tomorrow. At $100per I'll check 'em out. This current motor won't develop more than 400whp anyway.

M400. My understanding is that even with the old version of the 1200s they will be fine as you suggest. Possibly harder to get to idle. Be interesting if they're a new version though.
