He is indeedy - I just talked to him a few minutes ago and later tonight the uglymobile will be in its final resting place.
All systems are go, gents.

We also have to ask for more money please, to cover the Bush Fire Brigade coming out to the burnination and some food that is being provided for the BBQ they're having.
Use the PF account if you can't make it, bring it in person if you can.
We also need everyone that's coming to bring as many cameras as they have to cover it all.

Thanks for meeting us Jim and assisting with the unloading and loading - fuck it was funny when he 'bumped' the pole.
we just got home about 10 mins ago and I expect that Daryl still has a couple of hours left before he makes it home. At least he is lucky in that it's dark whilst he is towing it and nobody can see it..

Even the cops were pissing themselves laughing as we drove through an RBT being set up at Wahroonga...
Towing it certainly makes it hard to change lanes too, every fucker wants to travel alongside and bathe in it's awesomeness...

Ohh, and now that it is on it's way to it's final resting place, we can let the cat out of the bag as to where it has really been for the last 4 weeks.

Dale and the boys at CHE have been tweaking the beast to improve the power (up to 19.8 kW now) and they put a special twin outlet system on it.
They have also fitted their latest development - known as the "OSCS" or Occy Strap Containment System which will be all the rage in the coming months once these pictures get out....

Pictured above is two of their designs, The "Over Bumper" or "Stealth" - They tell me that they can also colour code the straps to match the car. We went for the contrasting Green and Gold to help celebrate Australia Day.....

Video and photo's really don't do it justice, every time I passed under streetlights I threw up in my mouth just a bit.

On first sight it took at least ten minutes to really take all the hideousness in.

26th Feb is firm. It will die next Sunday, no reserve dates, none.

Good to meet Southo and Jim, and Southo's missus too.

As Bill said in a recent post, I'm putting the hat out, From the time I left here to picked this thing up from Newcastle the Taurus fund has run dry. It's all been coming out of my pocket. A barbeque is being arranged for after the event so donations will be eagerly accepted, either through the Taurus fund or cash donations on the day.

Glenreagh isn't a big place so if you can't find the station on your own, without directions, you're an idiot

Due to the location of the venue a big fuckoff explosion isn't possible so a vigorous burning will take place instead.

Ive had to make a few promises to the local landholder, plod, and Fire brigade.

It seems important to some people that everyone gets to leave the scene alive, therefore all spectators will be kept at a distance during the burnination however you will still get a good view of proceedings.

I do expect some minor explosions during the event. The car is being burnt how it is, I'm not removing engine, fuel tank, interior, anything.

I'm pushing OH&S boundaries to the brink here.

Ahh Sorry about that - we tended not to hang around in the one place for too long as randoms would start coming up to us and asking questions and try to befriend us. - looks like we made it out just in time - ha ha ha

People would stop us and ask if they could take a photo with the car, not because they liked it as I did ask them, so I am assuming there will be a raft of new "FAIL.org" images with the Taurus popping up soon..

It truly was an "experience" towing it around - one I hope to NEVER have to do again

To answer a bit of feedback Ive been getting.

The reason I'm not giving too much away is because I don't like making promises I can't keep, there has been enough of that with this car already. Even since Ive had this job my plans have had to change more than once either though people not keeping their promises to me due to cold feet or ideas just being unfeasible.

I'm just trying to do this as spectacularly as I can and safely as I can. I'm also trying to juggle the show(what PF wants) and training (what the fire brigade wants)

Overall, I'm trying to arrange it so everybody there enjoys the day.
