    posted in the TGAU thread:

Actually, there's the mob in the Hunter Valley who let people drive tanks.

What about we get Uncle to drive a tank over it while Jim does a burnout in the Red Streak behind them? That way you also get some 13s for $1300 coverage.

I can't find the one I was thinking of - they used to run it next to the rally driving place (had yellow cars with red signage?) in Cessnock/Pokolbin.

The only one I can easily find is on the Mornington Peninsular.

*edit* a bloke at work has a mate with a pair of Centurions (as you do). I'll ask him.

We could get it rego'd in Canberra .... maybe.

I can send an email to Chic. dunno what he will think tho

Edit email sent .... although I believe the PLI issues surrounding destructing it at an event like summernats could potential knock it on the head, even if the owners were interested

Haha , stumbled into this forum tonite and what a surprise when i found this thread. I've seen the car before on at least two occasions when I lived in Brisbane 06-07 and never forgotten it... I managed to snap a photo one of the times:

Taken on the 20th of January 2007 in Brisbane CBD.

Thanks for posting. Can't believe it didn't cop a defect within seconds of being on the road.
Don't forget to bring back my car back tomorrow. Just slide it under the door.

I knew I'd seen this car in Brisbane before as well. Just managed to find the terrible phone pic I snapped of it. Peak hour traffic outbound on the Ipswich Motorway back in 2007 as well.

They did a similar thing a few years back, tied some shitbox to a jetpowered van in the middle of the oval during the stunt show.

I can see a similar fate for this thing (after being cruised around EPIC, and laughed at, for a few days)

So I just worked out a perfect way to see this thing destroyed in a glorious manner with zero accountability...

It just needs to somehow end up in McPhillamy Park before the 6th of October with the keys in the ignition and the rest will take care of itself (and most likely end up on youtube with multiple angles for our enjoyment)

Summernats is way too far away, this should be long dead before then!

I say mechanical abuse at Sydney Drag day and then off to an undisclosed rural area to be run in to trees, driven over by 4wd's and fibreglass hacked apart by chainsaw's. Maybe some car bowling as well, that was fun at Hampton

All to be filmed for HoonTV of course.

It's do-able, not complex enough to cause anyone greif and we get to see it die in a fashion that it will never be used again.

FFS - this is getting harder to organise than a PF dinner. Get Bill Surewood on the job.

From the sound of the motor you should get 1 pass before the bottom end lets go but I wouldn't bet on it.
