I'd much prefer to see this burnt using liberal amounts of petrol rather than high explosives
much more pleasing to the eye.

Then again, the thought of massive instant detonation is somewhat appealing

Fuck Im looking forward to this

I too remember driving past this thing regularly parked outside that house on Blunder Road. Fucking abomination.

    I'll just leave this here

There were six 40lb cratering charges with c4 boosters buried underneath the car and a box of c4 underneath the engine. After the blast the only pieces that were recognizable was the steering wheel, a floor mat, the stereo, and a bent up door frame. The car was also filled with concrete.

Lookie what I found doing a Google for "Blunder Durack Taurus".

A Boost Cruising link on the Taurus (Started Feb 10, 2007 - last post July 30, 2007). They appear to hate the car as well. Many if the images are gone, but there's a photograph in the topic that reveals its old QLD rego.

    Looks like:

    827-DLO

Must be someone here that can do some research on that rego number ...

Are they toilet rolls on the parcel shelf?

I still want to see how big a set of rims you can fit under the back, and then if the car gets torn in half by a clutch side step with the handbrake on...

I do like the idea of it being jet melted.. and a friend of mine who passed away last year still has his rolls royce Derwent jet engine sitting in storage (strapped to the back of an F350 in questionable mechanical condition, used to be used for making lots and lots of wind on film sets, as seen here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=59zze...e=channel_page)... and there is half a chance I can find someone who knows how to operate it.. we'd need to fuel it though... and it REALLY likes to drink... and make noise... and be generally inconvenient to manouver... and its not as firey as the vid posted before

Hello from the TaurusClub website. Y'all pooled your $ together to destroy that turd? I wish I was in Australia to help out. Bravo! I can't wait to watch it die. LOL

I remember the owner of this car chatting with me on Yahoo Messenger or MSN Messenger back in 2006 or 7 about this car. I wonder if I still have some of the pictures...he was really proud of it...

Have you posted about this on Jalopnik?

Well, nothing can match the spendour of a cockroach car that has been bodily bastardised, but here is one I saw in the carpark yesterday and instantly thought someone was trying to take the crown.

Sad thing is that this was based on a car I rate...

    lol @ the Accord.

So fucking wide it doesn't fit in a car park. Sad thing is they are a decent looking thing to start with and that kit has made it shit. At least with the Taurus it was shit to start with.

laughed until i cried at the roll backs...

    my suggestion:
find open area at night, setup an acetylene bomb + a little petrol.
big bang + flames = win.

mates down the SE used 44's in a paddock with a 4L icecream container of petrol on top, set off with a .243.

I think we will need to create "Poolroom of the century" purely just for this topic, such is the win to the power of win or win^win

For anyone interested, i spoke to the bloke who runs the Monster Trucks, and he said he building a new motor for one of them, and in 2 weeks or so he'd be happy to run over it for you. He's on a decent size property and would do it there.
