Now where have i seen this before?

Just keep the boost lowish on the V12 as it has the skinny 'scourge of modern toyota's' rods and they would be getting suss over 10-12psi i reckon. Still, 5 litres of V12 on 10psi will still chuck epic skidz

Subaru h6's have tiny rods, and put out plenty of power. Not too worried, a 5L v12 with a few lbs of boost will be silly torque.

This takes me back to my first post on PF after responding to Crackas plans to fit some spaz engine to an SVX.
I think it was something along the lines of " why don't you fit that engine to a Fiori and just aim for the fuckin tree ".

    Ditto.

Took the engine back out to fabricate rack mounts and shit for Xmember. Engineer says 5l turbo V12 is ok for the car. Ordered 1GZ bellhousing from toyota, looking for a T56 and one of Ed's adapters. Cracka needs to buy a pair of TDO6 20G's for it. It's only getting log manifolds because that's all it needs. Going to run a Vipec V88 with two subaru DBW throttles and a subaru pedal to save fucking around with dual cables/idle controls/balance tubes etc. A little bit of wiring saves a whole heap of engineering.

Epic. And 97% out of control. I approve.

Now convince him it needs e85 for long term sustainable skids.

GTX only comes into its own at high boost.

So no point in this application.

TDO620G are $599, GTX3076 are $1900. I also like triangle flanges with round inlets and no water cooling.

If you can get E85 then go for it. Needs a million injectors and lots of fuel pumps and lines though.

Gonna have to replace 90% of the fuel system in this anyway arent you? Surely 450rwhp worth of E85 would fit down the factory fuel lines.

While I generally love the idea of any kind of forced induction on any engine basically, wouldn't a nice set of custom extractors be enough for the engine note alone?

It's available at Alex Hills Caltex and conveniently at a servo just off the Highway near Mt Gravatt.
