Brakes priced. Same setup as on black car. Except without slotted rotors for more sleeper cred.
Will get them soon enough, still waiting on rear diff to be found before I do that though.

Will have to be R200 rear end with turbos, R180 won't handle that. i have the R200 already, just needs custom bearings and shit.
Did you get oil cooled turbos?

If you got water cooled turbos I will plumb them with $10k's worth of speedflow for not listening.

280hp, 1200nm of torque. It's how the japs roll.

450hp atw at .5bar perhaps. bit hard to say, it's hardly a common engine.

I reckon that's pretty well spot on, turbo dependant. Scale up from my 4 litre UZ and you'd have 445rwhp@6.5psi....that should be plenty safe too, given the number of rods the power is spread across. I reckon they will handle 10psi with a conservative tune.

Did some work on the car this weekend. A boilermaker mate cut and folded a 3mm plate to fill in the gap in the X member that we cut out to clear the engine and I trimmed and welded it in yesterday and mounted the rack.

    Std and modified crossmembers.

LH engine mount. Rubber mounts are diesel patrol.

    RH engine mount.

Engine sitting on it's mounts. I haven't welded the mount brackets yet as I want to move the engine over to the right a bit more, this will require a smaller diameter booster off a different model subaru.

    Al,
what are you doing for the bellhousing and adapter?? ive been in touch with dellows but so far i have not had much luck with them actually showing any signs of any action....
i did read something about the 1uz housing and t56 adapter but i held my 1uz bell up to the back of the motor and they are not even close, so are you using an adapter plate at each end or did i miss something??
will have to catch up with you about your engineer as well, mine is a bit soft...

They always pay full price, I never do 1000's of dollars worth of labour for nothing. that's my secret.

Ferdie, plan is 1GZ bellhousing, which I have ordered from japan, to mate to one of Ed's T56-A340 adaptors with a T56 on the back. 1UZ flywheel with T56 clutch of some sort.
