Or alcohol.
Or a demonstration while consuming alcohol.
Or a demonstration while both Az and the car consume alcohol.
PS My brain is no worky at the moment, but I think Al got the explanation wrong when he assumed that a guard rail would make any difference to this thing.
All I am getting in non working brain is that you would be either over or under fuelled, probably by a fair amount.
I prefer Al's explanation though.
Cheers, Richard

depends how fast the computer is.
if a hose blows off under boost, it's a manifold leak and the map sensor will not give 2 fucks. Providing the turbos can flow enough, the only thing that will happen is the turbos will over spin and start making hot air, and it'll run rich and ping it's heads off no doubt.
if it's not on boost, then it will idle at 5000rpmbut no children will be harmed

oh and on boost it wont go well and be rich as fuck, as it will have a mass boost leak.
so either way, no babies should be harmed in the making of awesomeness

Dont the ecus your using have a target rpm at idle? So if the tps is reading 0 and its getting too much air it would cut ign till it hits target and do it over and over (ie hunting)

So when the clamped on hose blows off at full throttle and you back off because something broke only to find that your 5l V12 now has 400 square mm of air ingress and cannot return to idle do you think the ecu will account for that? Maybe I could put some microswitches on the hose clamps and if they blow off it will limit the throttle? Or I could use some $10 fittings and make it so they can't blow off.
Anyhoo, if the first thing you think when you open the bonnet of a white 2000 GX liberty and find a twin turbo V12 in there is "I wouldn't have used dash 12 speedflow for that balance chamber", you are surely fucked in the head.
I got one of them too, either side of it has spring clamps though, so even less secure than screw clamps
As I said, I love the build, I think its epic, some of Als work is even sitting in my car and its top notch of course, was just a passing comment thats all, opinions will always vary.

Yeah I get that, I guess I have a little more faith in normal fitings![]()
