Hilux pricing - what would you pay?

So my project Lux is dead and I would rather eat a bowl of leaches than drop $3k on another gutless 3L diesel motor or a month of Sundays swapping in a 3RZ...

Have found another one locally and checking it out this weekend;

It's an early 90s single cab, ally tray, has rebuilt 5L and box in the last 40k kms, body lift, 33s and some nice add ons like tool box, spotties, CB etc etc

I know it will still be gutless but keen to get away over the silly season and this would fit the ticket nicely.

What should I pay?

1uz + turbo, it's the only way to be sure.

Dude.. 5Ls are as gutless as 3Ls.. Especially with big tyres. Get one with a v8 conversion and rego and drive it while you engineer the LS1/duramax conversion in your old hilux.

Once thats engineered, sell the new hilux to some boostloosing fag for more than you paid for it.
