    Dak dak Wagon

So a few months ago I sold my RS ... and bought a BMW 5 series. Comfy and slow as hell. It has rendered me depressed in literally months. To solve this issue I got myself a budget toy today. I got it for a great price for what it is - just something mildly entertaining.

    1996 Hatch
Converted to ADM 1998 WRX - sedan as a donor.
Full 98 dash swap done including door trims etc.
    96 WRX seats
99/00 bonnet - needs replacement but there is one there alread
4 pot calipers with slotted rotors
Kartboy shifter bushes and rear shifter mount
    330mm sports wheel
    Walbro fuel pump
    16 inch WRC wheels

After taking it for a drive, I have deducted it is quicker in a straight line than my RS, so right now mods are a non concern. Handles pretty well too so another non issue

I do have a list of things I want to do

    -big clean
-2 chips in windscreen need sorting
-resolve bonnet asap, I cant stand hail
-clean a couple of other bits of the body
    -tint
-different steering wheel - I cant see due to my height
    -different wheels

And ill just enjoy it for about 9 months, get bored, and sell. I do this ALOT

Also keeping the bmw which means I dont mind if this is getting work done to it.

You're a strange strange man TJ.

You should seek help for this obsession you've got with Subarus.

if lotto numbers were as predictable as forum members we'd all be running 12's in shiny supras.

nice pick up mate. Out of curiosity would it have been cheaper to keep the RS and have bought the Beamer too?

BMW for euro bitchez and Subaru for bogan bitchez?

Save money just keep the wheels, otherwise be different and convert it to a stock wheels but later model wheels.

Perhaps get one of thosw Whiteline swaybar kits they are pretty cheap

Its still with me - will be staying. Had got all excited to do fit 19's and slam... then realised it needed to be comfy for my old man etc. So its still rolling on retro-stance 15's

Come out a couple of grand ahead like this - but that will get sucked up with tint, bonnet, and wheels

Had another tailgate with Sti wing, owner took it back as part of the sale - And I actually really like the clean back - no badges or stickers on it at all.

Still reckon these are one of, if not the, best looking version they came up with.

I understand how and why this happened. It's a sickness. Unfortunately, I have it also.

A Subie sickness is better than a Euro sickness. The Euro sickness strikes much harder at your wallet.

The decision was driven harder after Sunday - saw Bart at the bbq, he said he had grown attached to Hr31 and wasnt selling for a while. 8 minutes after I transferred coin for this, there was an ad for its sale
