    Making valve covers, need opinions....

So I decided that I'm bored enough to make some valve covers for my Pontiac engine. Got majority of the way there, just need to put tubes on for K&N breathers and setup PCV, but got excited and cleaned/polished one up to see how it'd turn out and now i'm fucking torn. Do I polish the other one up and go for that "Clean" look or re-weld the polished one and go for that "fabricated" look...

The 4 bolt holes will be cleaned up on the other one but i'm a bit conflicted now.

    Need opinions/critique...

Hmmm alot of votes for the clean look. Will clean up the other one on the weekend and setup the breathers and put them on the motor for further evaluation.

These are the breathers i'm talking about, the PCV will most likely be a tube up the back of a cover mounted vertically next to the fuel rail (injected) but was originally contemplating setting up LS1 coil packs, but would absolutely fuck the clean look and would look quite busy

Cheers boys! It's about time I put my BOC TIG to work, i've had it for so fucking long, did a few jobs in the beginning that paid it off but it sat in the shed for a year because I got me a nopics.

Anyhow, cleaned up the other one - fuck I love cameras! They hide so many imperfections

Just have to drill some small holes to act as perforations for the breathers, weld on some 1.75" tube for said breathers, put on a set of Crower stainless rockers i've had on the shelf for months because the current rockers on there I setup with a stud girdle that these covers hit, work out where to put the PCV and put my feet up for the rest of the weekend!

IMO those breathers will wreck the neat look. I personally would use speed flow fittings with some braid into a similar looking catch can
