Bit more done, made the mounts for the exhaust, bit of "wrc spec" haha...just tagged on though for now... Should take some serious track action before these break.
Sprayed on the first coat of epoxy. This is the type thats used on inside commercial oil and fuel tanks. Superb for stopping rust.
You crazy Scandanavians! Love it!

Mmmmmmmmm beer.
Pics dont do it justice after 4 layers of clear coat shes absolutely stunning....
Awesome work mate, keep the updates coming.
Glued on the heat shield, really thinstuff this, wonder if it helps....have to wait and see.
Firewall almost ready,by the way its the last bit of metalwork before filler and paint prep and other 5 minute jobs. Its getting there. Managed to put the axles on and lowered it on its four feet, last time it has done that it was year 1988. People said it was undoable project wasnt after all....
awesome work mate.
very impressive.

DrNick is king!!!! No, Mark Webber is now! Long live the king!
Well then...ended up adding more bars...few more and the gussets. Should be able to start the inside paint prep tomorrow evening. Its been a long time coming and i wanna see this thing on color ASAP!!!!
First pics of the fresh paint...she´s a beauty in the flesh. more to come when the painting continues...
By the way its graphite grey and the light makes it look more gold than it really is...
Gave it the final clear coat, damn this is slow...cant do much more than sit and and watch the paint dry up!!!! Now i can put the front suspension on again and the engine block, which brings me to next problem, decided its N/A cossie route and bought the bits, thing is the head has 7 yes SEVEN cracks and is unusable..i need a good cylhead and quick,so if someone has one heres money waiting?
Pics of cracking? Probably cheaper to get TK to fix it than find another head?
Cracks run through the port wals to valve seats,if they could be fixed id already had done it...but this ones a goner, need to find another. I believe the manic winters here contribute to this,-35-40 celsius and then it quickly heats up when you start the engine...this aint the first cracked cossie head ive had through the years.
Mate great quality of work, blown away!
