Spotted out at Bathurst today. I didn't get to see it on the track though unfortunately.
As per every year I've been out to watch there is so much time wasted with the track empty. It's frustrating to spectate but drive you drivers nuts waiting around all day with the track sitting there empty.

What wasted track time are you taking about? Lunchtime when it's residents' access? Or the 10mins between each race (which often isnt if they are running behind due to accidents, oil on circuit etc).

Yep, all of that. Sorry 'wasted' was the wrong word to use. Multipul short races on a longish track inherently means lots of time spent watching empty track. Let's just say its not the best event to take a young family to.

Don't come to the 1000. Minimum 20 mins between anything on track

Yeah but longer track sessions, especially Sundays race = more watching racing

I love the Mount and living nice and close have been to plenty of events there but I guess I'm more use to club level super sprints where it is a crime to not have cars on the track. Also with tracks like the late great Oran Park, Winton and Wakefield the spectator can see most of the track so there is always something to see.

Orange Ginetta (without the wings etc) had it seize up. Don't think they managed to fix it as I didnt see it the rest of the weekend.

Yeah we came to terms with it by the end. It's got 1/2 the power of the Viper by 50x the awesome under brakes and in the corners.

That's a pity. Which garage were you guys in?

Sam, the little G40 blew a diff on Saturday and was unable to be fixed.

So a 2B victory on it's Prod Sports debut and a 2.29 finally on the last lap of the hour. I think I was more stoked with that than the win! We were not the quickest in class most of the weekend. There was a quicker Honda Elise and a 200SX with a suspicious amount of straight line grunt. It expired and the Lotus drivers were badly mismatched in times.

Good vid's, the car looks very stable and looks like it could handle more power pretty easily.
I was watching your times on natsoft against berry (the cars owner I guess?) and you seemed to be pretty similar time wise which is a good effort I reckon to jump in someone elses car and pretty much match them.

He doesn't own it yet, but has been racing it this year. Natsoft had our times back to front, but yeah there wasn't much in it.

They use the exact same chassis for the GT3 car at it has 550hp.

Nice clean drive, owner should be happy. Now what I'm about to say is meant to be constructive. If you were using a halfway decent HD camera the video quality should be a lot better than that, if I can do it anyone can. Say no more.

A fair bit of quality was lost when I uploaded it for some reason.

I have a Radcam and it was on the whole weekend also and for the 2nd year in a row at Bathurst it has fucked up. It might have been my fault, but it kept saying "card is full". When I checked it in the computer yesterday it was set to read only. Might have been the problem. Last year one of the batteries was a dud. Oh the ironing... I spent $500 on the fucking thing for times like this. Last year I missed recording the fastest lap I have ever done (and am ever likely to do) at Bathurst because of it.
