Nice work mate and that's a pretty decent price. Can't wait to hear more once you pickup as we're looking at these for a new family carrier as well

picked it up today, very impressed it drives a lot nicer then my 2wd version, it has 2wd, 4wd, 4wd low and a factory rear locker

fitted up the soft tornau when i got home 1 hour easy as, they wanted to charge me 4 hours @ $150 P/H to do it.

first thing is tinted windows next week as the little fella got burnt on the 2 hour drive home.

sorry about the shitty iphone pic the colur is actually the same as the link below

I was in a few weeks back looking to buy on of these.

They have soem great factory bonus's on them atm.

I was looking at a base model 4x4 in Blue for $39'000 driveaway.

Dealer was telling me it was a sales drive by VW to get cars out on the streets, and to be seen, in an attempt to gain market share.

In reality I think there really just clearing Manual stock for the Auto's iminent arrival, and they have no shortage of Amorok stock in OZ from what I saw out the back and what he said he was holding offsite!

Just did another 2500kms in my Amarok towing a race car from Bris-> Syd and back. Averaged 11L/100kms towing, fully loaded with 4 adults onboard. The other guys in the convoy couldn't believe the economy.

VW have stated they want to be the No.1 car manufacturer this year. Therefore they're trying to shift as much stock worldwide as they can.

It's good shit though, it's actually VW approved. Pretty sure Trakka is still the agent, sort of, for them here. Which means it's even more expensive, to the point you'd be mad to even think about it.

Fitted up some 245 70 17 BF Goodrich KM2's to the truck today, really happy with how the gearing has turned out and they are nice and quiet.

Ill be spending some money over the next few weeks on this to get it a little more set up for trips away with the family. But ill also be spending some time setting up a new toy aswell
