i know of an excel that'll go cheap - been parked up for a while and has a scratch infront of the passenger side front wheel.

before it was parked they spent 4k or something mental on service bits though

in brisbane - if anyones interested let me know and i'll get a price etc

Complete and running ET Pulsar hatch for sale in Sydney - $600 with wheels, $500 without.
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Wrecking-...item2ebdb0142f

I will put up more pics soon. Needs a good clean (optional ) and a fuel pump. Perfect for FWD 13s for $1300.
If I already didn't have a car for this challenge, this would have been mine.

Thinking I might have found a car. We'll see how things go but it's close and it's not a bad thing to start with. People will LOL and shit when/if it happens.

    Yes

Well, I think a sideglide would suit a 7-8 second one

No quite a build thread as I bought it already done....and saved myself the hassle and time. Thread here

It's probably not quite in the spirit of things, but it was exactly what I was planning to do anyway, and then the perfect car came up for sale, so a no-brainer, really. I will however, be making a few upgrades and tweaks in order to get it to grip better.

Oh well, so much for that plan.

Had my eye on this Hyundai (2001 model, 2-litre 102kw manual), which was for sale through Pickles E-salvage locally. It looked like I was going to get it for $100 or so (stat writeoff, flood damaged) but the bidding has exploded and now it's over $500 which is more than I want to pay considering I don't know if it's ingested a lung full of water or not.

Would have been the best looking 13s for $1300 car ever. Plan was the gut it, sell what I could off it (like the wheels plus the other set of even bigger diameter mag laying the back, and stero) and then turbo it with some cheap parts from the US. Would have shat in 13s easy.

Saw the perfect car on pickles today at Fyshwick. N14 pulsar with an SR20 for about $350. Not sure if that was final price but it was at that with 2hrs to go.
