    Workshop/Individual recommendations to fully re-wire street/drag car - ADELAIDE

Hey guys – I’ve been looking at what’s needed to wire up the Crown, and I’m thinking of getting it done in the interests of of expediency and the CBF factor. (I don’t have much patience or care factor with wiring)

Anyone have any suggestions for somewhere/someone to fully wire it up in Adelaide?

It'll be a reasonable amount of work
    Vipec
    W2A
    Pumps
    Nitrous (+ heater)
    Injectors
    Fans (eng,trans,W2A)
    fuel press sensors etc etc
Separate engine loom for easy removal with additional circuits for expansion
Big relay array and fuse block

    Cheers ladies,

    Sean

Check it out on racepak website, you need no relays etc with it, trigger anything off your can bus.

Around $2k from memory but pricing should be available next week

I'd use that in any car, run wipers, lights, indicators, the lot off it.

But half the price tag of motec one , of you have a racepak dash etc you can just tell the smart wire to turn fan on when temp is 90 deg and it will do it.. There switch panels also plug into the can bus so very simple to wire etc,

Can double up outputs to give 50amp max current I think it is..

About $1700us for the smartwire. Looks the goods and has some specifications that are much better than Motec, especially the response times.

A cheaper simpler option is some of the gear that is made by speedwire, they have really neat relay and switch panels that only need a 9 pin serial cable between the switch and repay panels.

I know that PLMS does a lot of nissan and toyota stuff, but not sure if they'd do whole cars. Could try them. http://www.plmsdevelopments.com/

    That looks good Dale.

So as I already have the Racepack Dash and Vipec cable it all intergrate quite nicely - yes?

I guess that with the simplified wiring it wil actually save on the wiring cost a bit, meaning the incremental cost over a conventional install won't be the full cost of the smartwire modules, with a bunch more flexibility.

I shall begin hiding cash in the proverbial hollow log then..............

("no honey, I didn't get any loading or overtime payments this month - sucks huh?" heh heh)
