I am by no means a Schumacher fan but I just want to point out how wrong you are...again . Bowing out in Q1 because of poor strategy != "past it". The same could have been said about webber in China last year, or Kimi in Australia, etc etc.

Mark seemed pretty annoyed in the interviews highlighting the fact that there is a clear advantage for going out last in qualifying. I couldnt understand why Seb would be given hat privilege given that Mark is leading him in the championship and put down better times in Q1 and Q2. I realised tonight how much less enjoyable F1 is when Vettel is on top. Without being too negative though, looking forward to a good race tomorrow, anything could happen with Lewis and Vettel on the front row.

Another awesome show for Ricciardo hosing his team mate. Just hope he can finish just as ahead. But It actually occurred to be that Richardo's performance this year could well determine Webbers fate next year.

Caterham into Q2 was awesome too.

Datzed, I dont think Webbo will ever be pushed into retirement so long as he is matching it with the other guys up the front. In other words, he isnt going anywhere in the next 2-3 years.

Mark commented that they take it in turns.

Really hooping Vettel fluffs the start. He could do a Rosberg if he gets out in front early.

I was more refering to Webbers eat at RBR. If Ricciardo continues to hose his team mate and does so while making no mistakes, the germans might think he is ready for a seat at RBR.
    Just a hypothetical.

My first thought too after Q3. However... I don't think Hammo will let this opportunity slide and will be doing everything possible to stay within striking distance, hopefully stuffing up and taking the both of them out and Mark cruising home for the easy win... assuming Mark doesn't drop 3 spots at the start

Rosberg will be one to watch on the start I reckon, the Mercs are very good off the line. He could be fighting for second/third by turn 1.
    If in doubt power out

I think Mark said in the interview that they apparently take it in turns going out last. Anyone confirm this from the last few races? obviously last week Vettel wasn't even in Q3 but that's just the way it is by the looks of it.

With the heat, I reckon the Mercs will struggle to either keep pace, or last anywhere near a decent distance.
Above all, I REALLY hope Mark finishes ahead of Vettel.

with the protests going on there, wouldnt be surprised if someone runs out on track and gets nailed by a car as a "protest"

with all the security there not going to be able to get any sort of weapon near the track

pffft. there's no one there bar the teams and a couple of flag marshals.

You'd see a protester approaching from a mile away ... unless they are wearing a disguise that looks like an empty stadium or sand

That and about 4km of asphalt run off before you get to the track after jumping a fence. Cunts will collapse of heat stroke before they even make the circuit.
