2 stroke engine rebuilds - bris

can anyone point me in the direction of a decent bike engine rebuilder in brisbane? preferably one who`s good at porting 2smokers

fuckin stealership quoted "about $1500 to 1600" to do the job,as long as the bore coating is still ok,if its not add another $650,they want $750 for a genuine conrod set,and they will not use aftermarket, which i can buy a pro-x rod kit off ebay for under $150 USD,they also want $200 for an aftermarket piston kit,$850 in labour, i know its a big job but fuckin hell!)

i would do it myself but don`t have the free time/motivation to do it plus my shed is full of broken hilux parts, spread everywhere, and no space to do anything !

I've personally used these guys with very good results. http://crankshaftrebuildingservices.com.au/ I'd recommend. Graham is passionate about what he does and actually cares about his work so maybe give him a bell and see if he'd like to do the full build.
