Thinning out my collection of cars, here is another one that needs to go.
It's a 1997 Audi A4

Rego till June 2012
This car needs a bit of TLC to get into tip top shape, but if you don't really mind it being a bit... off, then it'd make a good daily driver.
This is Queen St build number 15, a very early build.
It's had the interior retrimmed in italian leather, the rear seats and door trims are OK but the front seats are shagged. They're roadworthy and all that but they're not in very good nic.
The interior all round is OK. There are plastic bits here and there that are loose, and all in all it really needs some love. It's livable, i'm quite happy to drive it as is, but it's not great.
The exterior has been painted in a pink/purple fade. It's.... pink and purple. Theres a dent in the drivers door, a patch of clear coat missing on the bonnet, some light scratching on the bootlid. From a few metres away the car looks like a million bucks, but up close it's pretty average. I'm not trying to decieve anyone here, the car needs some work... if you care that much. It's perfectly drivable as is, i've had cops look over it hundreds of times and never been defected. It just doesn't bother me.
The suspension is lowered springs all around and makes the car sit on its ass. I think it looks cool. It does have issues with speed-bumps, but i've never had the car bottom out. Yes it is too low to pass rego, but I have the factory springs to get it back to stock height if you want. Again, even last night cops looked over the car and nothing way said about it. I think it's because the car is no longer sitting on 20's. The 15's make it lower anyway.
The good:
The motor and box are good, no issues there. No leaks or anything like that, i've just thrown an oil change at it.
The tyres are brand new and tip-top.
Girls literally get moist over it. I've been told many times. It's not me either, i'm a faily average looking dude.
The CV joints in the front are fairly new.
AC works, as does the heater and all interior functions.
Has a DVD headunit with flip out screen, screens in the headrests and twin 12" subs in the boot for some doof.
It won't need much for rego.
The bad:
There is a slight power steering leak, I haven't investigated where from.
It needs some new suspension bushes for the rear.
It's been smoked in. I don't smoke, but the missus chain-smokes something crazy.
It does need some work, but you can easily just jump in it and drive it.
$4000. Negotiable of course.
Also, Mrs Jones has personally had a look over it, and as a qualified mechanic he is qualified to say that the car is a piece of shit and you probably shouldn't buy it unless you like cock in or around your mouth.
