    EFI fuel filter advice

I'm slowly getting together the parts I need for the fuel system to fit EFI to my Camaro. I was thinking of using a Ryco Z373 filter ( found on EB-AU Falcons) because it's pretty cheap, a nice size, and it can take M14 x 1.5 fittings. Can anyone see any issues with this?

I also need to work out how to mount the filter as I didn't want to have it supported just by the aluminium hard line that I will be using. The filter body is 55 mm in diameter. Is there a bracket in the Falcons that holds the filter in place that I might be able to get from a wrecker? If not then does anyone have any bright ideas on nice way to mount the filter?

Use a hose clamp around the filter body clamped to a finger bracket.

Yeah the falcons have a bracket thats pop rivetted to the chassis rail. Just grab one of them.

Oh and dont overtighten the nuts. They are infamous for siezing up when gorillas fit them up

Did you weld a strap to the hose clamp?

I went with a Bosch one from motorsportconnections looks very similar and used a filter mount off a filter r31 they bolt up to the front strut tower, very simple and clean looking.

I just grabbed a mount of some piece of shit Kia or Fiesta (and I think a Jellybean 121 has the same bracket). It had the rubber isolators on it. Give some thought to ease of access/removal. Use a Riv-nut and screw in the isolators. Mount the bracket.

While on the topic of fuel filters, are the 40micron Stainless mesh filters good for E85?
