Current draw of Toyota integral ignitor coils

Picked up some new coils for the race car, and wanting to wire them in to a single DT plug so that when i switch over to the new ECU it can be integrated into the loom nicely.

However the spec sheets for the Deutsch DT connectors give a 13A maximum for each connector.

Anyone know roughly what current draw the ignitors take, so i can figure out whether i want to use 1 or 2 of the pins for power on a 6pin connector.

Or should i just use a separate DTP connector for the power?

I think you should be right. In a ZZE123 all four coils run from the 15A IG2 fuse. I'm sure there's other electronics that run off IG2 in that chassis also.

Ignitors don't draw much power, they switch EARTH to the coils, so the +12 is supplied from the power feed to the coils via a seperate circuit.

These are all in one though, so ignitor and coil powered from the same source.

Four from the IG2, sounds good.

Ahh sorry, you are right, I didn't pick up on the 'integral' in the title.
