    SMIDSY cunts

Yesterday afternoon around 4pm I headed down the putty to penrith from home in muswellbrook on the 620..
Went over the bridge at bulga and the pub was packed with people playing two-up out front. Grass on your left on the inside of the corner was full.
Headed into the turn about 50kmh i think (didn't really take notice) And glanced at the pub to check out any trim, something in the corner of my eye grabs my attention... A blue honda accord euro turns right in front of me right in the middle of the corner!!! Before I could think i'd pulled the clutch in, and grabbed as much brake front and rear as I could, the rear end stepped out what felt like 45 degrees to the front, bike laid over on the chicken strip and locked up. I missed old mate's rear 1/4 by i think about 6 inches.. How the hell I managed to keep the bike upright I have no idea. make the beast with two backs I wish I was wearing a gopro!
I pulled up and took off my helmet and stood there for about 10 mins to calm down.

Haven't noticed a bald spot on the conti on the rear yet...

    Fucking cumdumpsters

Sounds like some bullshit yet again. But a little tip on emergency braking or even trackday braking, unless you are up there with the B grade racers forget about your rear brake unless you are doing slow maneuvers, all it will do is help you get crossed up under hard braking.

==Edit== i mean some bullshit the driver has pulled, not you!!

This is good advice. In a hard stop the rear brake is pretty much useless. Doesn't wash off bugger all speed but often locks up making the bike difficult to control. If you find you're having problems keeping the rear wheel on the ground (if you're braking hard enough you should be ) make sure you are gripping the tank really strongly with your knees so that your bodyweight isn't being transferred to the handlebars through your hands. Tank grips like Stomp or Tech Specs help a lot.
    Knee down and shit.

yeah tech spec etc are great, and yeah the wheel is almost/is off the ground so there is no use trying to brake with it.
