I don't want to sell this but I'm jobless and poor. Landcruiser turbo motor 1HD-T VIC

So I'm jobless and poor as fuck due to an ongoing injury. Had this for my cruiser, still have it for my cruiser.

If one of you cunts wants to buy it to help a cripple out, I'd appreciate it.

Its a complete 1HD-T conversion out of a 1990 GXL.

Comes with all bolt ons: Turbo/Manifolds/Dump pipe(Pretty shitty, kept it to make the new one)/Loom/Psteer pump/Alternator/Turbo injector pump with boost compensator/etc.

Also have the turbo airbox and piping, complete gxl loom, flywheel, new clutch, Turbo gearbox, constant 4x4 transfer case.

Now to the bad thing, typical unopened 1HD-T it has spun a bearing. Common as fuck on these things. Someone pulled the sump off to have a look, been sitting in my shed since.

Motor is still complete and assembled.

These are a bolt in to 80 series diesel cruisers, alternatively you can use the turbo shit on a 1HZ but I'd recommend rebuilding the 1HD-T as the direct injection makes a massive difference.

Now I really don't want to sell this thing. Times are tough.

I want $3000. The bolt ons are worth more than that and it comes with the gearbox and shit as well.

PM me or reply here, alternatively text me on 0438 433 884. I don't like phone calls.

Now I'm not massively fussed if this doesn't sell, I'll just have to find some different shit to sell.

    It's located in Sunbury, VIC.

I don't think I said cunt enough. Cunt.

Other than fixing the obvious, bottom end etc...

What else would be required to drop this into an FJ62 landcruiser that is currently running the 6banger petrol toyota donk?
Would I have to source fuel lines / change all those etc... cause of the petrol -> diesel swap?

Yes, i'm stupid and don't knwo.. but if it's not too much of a head fuck, my dad will buy this asap.

Mounts and bellhousing. A bit of wiring. You should be able to use most/all of the fuel system, with a good clean out and the addition of diesel filter + pump.

I have seen them in 60 series cruisers before, no idea on the difficulties though.

with changing bellhousings, the later fine splined input shafts were a bit longer. using a 1hz bellhousing on your existing gearbox could mean the input only just goes into the spigot. then the angle of the gearbox to the transfer is subtly different between models. if you're making mounts it shouldn't matter. also, the engine will probably want 3/8 fuel lines. how much longer than a 2h is a 1hdt ? it'd be definitely doable. and an excellent upgrade.
I didn't choose the thug life.

1HD-T Gearbox is different to 1HZ. Ratios are slightly different, input shaft is a coarse type instead of fine like the 1HZ. 1HD-T runs a larger clutch and flywheel as well, 300mm driven plate instead of 275mm.

I have all these bits, they can be a massive bastard to find separately.

p.s. any chance the injectors and injector pump has been rebuilt at some stage prior?

Any idea on the extent of the damage to crank/rod?

No idea sorry. It was going to cost me about 900 for a new crank from what I remember. I wasn't going to mess around with machining and resizing.

Almost decided to put it in my 80. If my stato sells again before this does, it wont be for sale anymore and it will sit there until I can get around to it.

Liam, let me know if you want to guide me on how to fit this motor into your Cruiser. I've never played with diesel stuff before.
