    FS: ducati monster 750. rwc+ 12 months reg $4500

ALLMTR's old bike, bought it, rode it like a champ, realised its not a good idea being that i dont have a licence and can't ride it for at least 15 months from when i get my licence, but its fucking fun to ride, kinda like a dirt bike. i told myself from the start i'd get my learners and just cop a few fines for riding a big bike, but after thinking it threw, not having insurance or TAC cover me is a daunting proposition.

i did half drop it the first day i got it and its got some scratches on the bottom of the right fork, thats all i did to it, otherwise its exactly as i got it from chuck.

i paid chuck 3500, have a recipet for $800 of shit for roady, another recipet for 600 odd for reg, would like 4500 back. chucks thread:
    http://www.performanceforums.com/for...ti-Monster-750

will get pics of the scratches in the fork if anyones genuinely interested

    cheers,
    Ben

Even edo would shake his head at those pics.

$3500 + $800 to get it roadworthy - crash damage = $4500. Sorry mate but

Im guessing it'd be really stupid to buy this bike without having a license, and only experience riding motorbikes being 5min on a CBR250R in a parking lot?

this coz its true, sort of.

Mr. Ed, if i was you, i wouldnt get it for the same reason i'm getting rid of it, no TAC, insurance etc. as for riding, its nothing to be intimidated by, its actually very user friendly. its like a big bike in the fact it needs only the most minute turn of the throttle accelerate normally, or to hold speed, say around 70 or 80km/h, slightest twist too much and you accelerate, but by the same token, it doesnt 'bite' like a 600 sports when you get it a little wrong. and it still has plenty of balls to pick up and get going, even with my hefty self on it.

3500 you paid for it - crash damage is probably not that far away from 2k just quietly.

I think you're going to struggle selling it on here. Everyone knows how cheap I sold it and they're comparing it to that rather than other ones for sale

I was more saying if you buy something, spend some money on it and then crash it you can't really ask the same as what you spent on it. Minor or not if a bike has been crashed it tends to knock the value and buyer confidence a fair bit.
