(ACT) E30 318i Coupe, with Rego + RWC

Picked this up locally and was considering a swap of engine / gearbox into the coupe, from 4 door... But Mrs has said has to go.

Needed ball joints, new control arms installed with ball joints.
Needed wheel bearing, new wheel bearing installed.

It's Auto, Red, currently has Rego till end of July, and will supply RWC.
Interior is in very good condition, but is povo pack - no leather, all the electrics work, engine bay is tidy.
Has near full service history bar last 2 years or so.
Tyres are next to new also.

Paint slightly faded, but will be buffing up before end of week and put nice pics up.

Looking for about 2K for it, it's worth it for a 4banger runabout, it's in top condition.

Anyone looking for a tidy E30 coupe or a nice daily, it's a worthy car.

Edit: 1989 Model, plastic bumpers with cold air ducting to front brakes and updated rear tail-lights etc.

Here's pics from when I first picked it up.

Basketweave rims not included, i've pinched them for mine. Has standard E30 bottle cap rims.

Bonnet is clear coat peeling on passenger side. But as stated, with a buff and polish it will come up very nice.

Body is straight as an arrow.

6 banger not much interest as it is destined to be a daily hack, although out of curiosity how much money/effort to convert it to manual?

With all the required parts, not hard at all.. Gearbox, Tailshaft, pedal box etc...
I considered doing that and keeping as daily, but prefer the torque and 1.8l wouldn't cut it.

The best you could do is, call this chick: http://www.allclassifieds.com.au/ac/...?cid=123332395

As I saw this a few days ago, for $500 - no windscreens but manual 318, good for parts..
If car is still available, you could have it towed to mates workshop, and he could do swaps for you probably. At least if you have a manual car, whole car, you have all parts you need.. including flywheel etc.

    So... there you go...
