Customer/Mates car. Its at a stage now where its probably worth posting about it.
Yes I'm aware that its powered by a dirty old holden v6, and I have already tried to convince him to put a different motor in it. He bought the car with the conversion done and he knows his way around these motors so it is staying.
The bottom end of the motor is standard for now but from the head gaskets up has been worked on. The heads had to be machined to suit the lift of the cam and he has used L67 items. It does have a nice note to the idle.
We considered trying to fit twin turbos but there is no room for a dump pipe on the drivers side so that was ruled out. Instead it now has a single GT3582, collector manifolds, 3.5" dump pipe tapered down to 3" to clear the steering rods. 1.75" screamer pipe. There is no room for a front mount intercooler so its going to cop a custom inlet with W2A core inside. Laser should be arriving for it during this week. It had direct port nitrous in the original inlet manifold so if i can fit the nozzles back into the new inlet I will.
It currently has a T5 box but the bell housing has arrived and the the glide should only be a couple of weeks away.
