Looks fine to me, and your legs will be over it so who cares (well except for other Ducati owners at the cafe).

You'll like the BM. I learned to ride on one of them and fuck me they are comfy and easy to ride and you feel like you just want to ride over the top of shit.

Yeah I imagine it's going to be super easy/nice to ride. I've thought about getting a 800GS and doing weekends away but that won't happen while I'm racing karts. Too many toys. /humblebrag

I might try adjusting the bars just to see what happens. Did you rotate them up (I guess)?
You can't really rotate them up, I rotated them forward around the fork legs so that the bars weren't so swept back.

If you want lots of grip but are worried about aesthetics, stomp grips are clear. Far less noticeable.
Randy De Puniet has had more crashes than any other rider in the history of Grand Prix motorcycle racing.

Ah ok, I really need to take a close look at what adjustment there is.

I think this tank grip looks ok, kinda blends in with the seat area. I'll get more benefit from just riding more often now I think.

    Helibars?
"Where can we get hold of a Vincent Black Shadow?" "Whats that?" "A fantastic bike," I said. "The new model is something like two thousand cubic inches, developing two hundred brake-horsepower at four thousand revolutions per minute on a magnesium frame with two styrofoam seats and a total curb weight of exactly two hundred pounds."

It's all good, it's a rider issue now. Nothing wrong with the bike. I used to ride a bicycle where the handle bars were 20cm lower than the seat so I'll get used to it.
