2 in 1 Boost and EGT Gauge?

    Hey Guys,

Ive removed my 2 VDO EGT and Boost gauges, as 1, they were in a crap spot and 2, boost only read up to 15psi.

I know Redarc has a gauge, but is there anything else out there? Maybe not the conventional round, but a square setup? Want something neat, and dont mind if its digital.

Do you have any nerds available? An Arduino mini clone ($5 delivered) plus a 2" TFT ($5 delivered) and use your existing thermocouple probe for EGT. Ditto with the boost sensor unless it's a mech gauge running off a vac tube.

    I run Cartel Australia

Saw an influx of visitors from this thread, so figured I would pop on here and have a look.

The unit comes with all it's own sensors - will work in any car it is installed in.

Fuel Pressure Sensor IS NOT ethanol compatible though - so if you run a petrol 4x4 on e10 the Fuel pressure Sensor will not love life

Will offer a $50/unit PF discount, use Coupon Code: pfadvance

Hi Phil, I see there's a version ZD version 2 or updated version people are selling. Is this the same with yours and is there really any difference between the units?

110% Diesel ok - just fuel pressure gauge will not work!

Will work on any vintage of car, as it does not connect to OBD etc - comes with all its own sensors

If you would reconsider a traditional gauge I have an autobarn spec autotechnicahabib gauge that is combined and doesn't have vacuum in my bt50. Seems to be pretty accurate for boost when compared to the scan gauge

I've got a McNally Boost & EGT combo gauge in my Land Cruiser, I like it. The LED readout for the EGT is pretty bright at night but you get used to it.

I had the same issue with my saas 2 in 1 thing. I just got some 5% window tint film and chucked it on over the digital egt bit . I used the straight bit of the film as the top and cut the bottom with a razor blade to suit the shape of the gauge. made a massive difference and you could still see it perfectly during the day

Brilliant! What a great idea, I'll see if I can get an off cut of tint film from somewhere!

I have the saas trax in the daily seems to work okay. As above is brighter than the sun at night time, the window tint idea is a cracker though.
