    Good question.

I reckon including the rego itíll be around 2500. Still need a seat but that can be used for cars down the track.

I suppose itís not quite the same as adding rear bar but if I took some damping off the front shocks and added some in the rear I guess that would change the roll rate overall?

Iím not really that cluey with car setup

Decided to fix the lean spots by adding 2 cylinders, m50b25 swap inbound.

Fired right up. Sounds like noisy lifter.

But Iíll get it out, get it on the engine stand and have a look about.

Good score. The accountant in me is wondering if you can sell the wheels, doors, front bar and panels and the net cost of your extra two cylinders is not very much. Mentally, Iím building a pretty good LeMons car for you.

Including the trailer hire and auction fees the red car owes me $550.

I have to find either mod my stock shifter and front half tailshaft or find 6cyl parts, and new engine mounts.

The rest should all be there.

I reckon once I sell a few bits off it and sell the old 4cyl motor it wonít have cost much.

My clutch fits but might have to upgrade if it looks ugly when I get it out.

Only base model velo gp90 but needed something to fit me (XL)

Went to local hillclimb for khanacross, welded diff and stock 205s from the wreckers made for some fun and got to take some frustrations of life out.

Canít wait for the 2.5 to go in. Mate is trying to talk me into entering some sort of drift event. Iím not sure if I am cool enough

Feed it a half litre of ATF in the engine oil for a tankfull before an oil change and it'll be golden.

First breakage with the car on Saturday, did a CV. Iím sure the welded diff and 245s on the back didnít help.

Struggled to find 2nd hand parts for a decent price so me and a mate are going halves in another car. He needs panels and I need the rear end (comes with a 4.44 rear end not 3.45 like mine).

    Worthless cars are fun.

So how did the welded diff feel up to the point of the CV letting go?

The ratio of fun:$ spent on this car must be off the chart.

It felt okay but probably a little early to call if it was the right mod for timed events, certainly is a lot more fun.

So people were asking $180 for one axle with cv, and a mate needed panels for his car so we just said fuck it and bought an entire car for $300 so $150 each.

I took the wheels, complete rear end with 4.44 diff and still gotta take the front end out. Rest is going to scrap metal.

Donít know how I won my class with the poor run.

Got a minor defect for the seat and a brake light out. Iíd consider that lucky with all the other non standard things.

Club contacted me, they want me to run in the improved production class which means a max rim width of 8 inch.

    Currently running 17x8 f and 17x8.5 rear.

These wheels weigh a fucking heap and thereís probably better tyres than ad08r for what Iím doing.

Trying to find smaller diameter 8 inch wide wheels, not easy for bmw it seems as wide as you can easily find in oem wheels in a 16 is 7 inch wide.

I do have a set of 17x8s but then Iíd need to buy another pair of 235 ad08r and Iím not sold on those tyres considering it only gets driven to the track.

if the 1.8 is any good when you yanks it, I'm keen on it....maybe.

Itís the m44 motor which is a 1.9 twin cam

Either way Iíll let you know.

Picked up a set of these factory bmw wheels in 16x7, the wheels are only 7.4kg so if I put 215 Nankang AR1s on them i should lose around 4.5kg per corner.

Best part was the wheels were only $120.

I just hope someone buys my current wheels soon so I can clear some room in the shed!

Started working on the engine, few things didnít seem quite right when I pulled it from the donor car.

Did triple check of the engine number, found to be a 2 litre not 2.5 litre as originally fitted to donor car.

Fuck sake, currently lying on shed floor drinking sorrows away.

I checked the vin and shit before I bought it which was a 325i but when I pulled the engine out there were a few signs that it had been out before which got me thinking.
