Anyone need some used Sidi Cobra boots?

Before I put these on Bumtree or rape then for spares before throwing them out (as they’re well used) thought I’d see if a PF’er wants them for nearly free.

Sidi Cobra boots, EU44. RRP for $350-400. I just bought a new pair.

Great boots but these have been worn plenty. Overall still in reasonable condition bar the right toe and a bit of the sole there where I like to drag it around corners. (Check my toe-pics)

They still zip up fine, don’t smell (they have vents you can open/close....plus I don’t have sweaty smelly feet!!) side vents work fine and they’re comfy as and great protection. Just starting to rub through on the toe but still water tight.

Happy to trade for a 6 pack of decent beer, otherwise I’ll put em on Bumtree for $40.....failing all that I’ll just pull off the heels and the good toe slider and keep them for spares. You can buy replacement toe sliders for $25 FYI.

    Sidi blurb :
The patented and trademarked Vertebra System protects the rider’s Achilles tendon.
    Thermoplastic resin ankle protection.
Bolt-on (no hook-and-loop!) replaceable, adjustable and aerodynamic nylon scuff pads on the toe.
Nylon inner sole with removable arch support pad.
    Nylon shin deflector plate.
1.7 mm thick Technomicro is used as a base material.
Double stitched in all high stress areas.
    All bolt-on parts are replaceable.
An elastic panel adjacent to the entry zipper allows a bind-free zip and improved fit.
    Dual-compound sole.
    Cambrelle lining.
    DuPont polymer toe shift pad.
    Perforated Teflon-treated nylon lining.
    Replaceable shock-absorbing heel cup.
    Padded Achilles area.
    CE approved.

For the amount if riding I get to at the moment they will last me a while.

They are better than the ankle boots I now have at the moment.

I'll grab them if you can wait until I am back in Brisbane at the end of June.

I like Bintangs, when I am sweating my balls off in Indo, and they are $1 each, and there is no decent beer around.

That is the only time Bintang should be drunk....

In saying that I will drink Bintang over the licensed Heineken that is brewed out here.

There is not too much good beer in Indo
